Ethiopia Haile Selassie War Medal for Korea – When the Korean War broke out in 1950, H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I raised a volunteer battalion from the Imperial Bodyguard for deployment under United Nations auspices.   This medal was designed in honor of this historic event.
